About the Role

The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing relationships with existing trade customers and promoting the company's range of timber and building products. This is a B2B sales role working with builders, contractors, construction businesses and other trade customers. This position requires a good understanding of customer and project requirements, strong product knowledge and the ability to provide suitable product and supply solutions to commercial and trade clients.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop recent business opportunities with builders, contractors, construction businesses and trade customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective business clients.
Meet with customers to understand their project, material and supply requirements.
Recommend and explain suitable timber, building and associated products based on customer needs.
Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing, supply arrangements and commercial terms.
Follow up sales enquiries, quotations and potential business opportunities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's products, market conditions and competitor activities.




Monitor changing customer requirements and identify opportunities to grow sales across the product range.
Coordinate customer orders, product availability and delivery requirements with relevant internal teams.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and assist resolving product or supply-related matters.

About You
Previous experience in B2B sales, business development or account management.
Experience in timber, building materials, construction products or other trade and industrial products will be highly regarded.
Robust communication, sales and negotiation skills.
Ability to understand customer requirements and recommended appropriate product solutions.
Solid customer relationship and account management skills.
Good organisational and time management-abilities.
Ability to develop recent business and maintain long-term commercial relationships.
Ability to work independently and as a part of team.

Qualification
A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
