Express Employment Specialists is seeking a Sheet Metal Machine Operator / Duct Fabricator to join a manufacturing team in Acacia Ridge, with an immediate start available.
Pay and hours
$35-$37 per hour, depending on experience.
Monday to Friday, 6:00 am-2:00 pm.
Occasional 5:00 am starts, based on production requirements.
Potential overtime available.
About the role
Operate sheet metal machinery to manufacture metal ducting.
Cut, bend, shape and assemble sheet metal components.
Work from measurements and production instructions to fabricate ductwork.
Check finished components for accuracy and quality.
Use hand and power tools to complete fabrication tasks.
Handle materials safely and maintain a clean, organised work area.
About you
Previous experience operating sheet metal machinery or fabricating ductwork.
Confident using hand and power tools.
Solid attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
Physically capable of completing manual handling duties.
Reliable and available for early starts and overtime when required.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
