Position Title: Security Architect
Location: Australia – Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth

Digital Biz Solutions Pty Ltd are looking for Security Architect to work on some major client projects in Australia. The position will be full time.

As a Security Architect you would undertake the following duties.
Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure IT infrastructure.
Responsible for developing and implementing robust security architectures that protect the organization’s systems, networks, and data.
Design and implement enterprise-wide security frameworks and solutions.
Develop secure architecture for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid workplace
Conduct risk assessments and threat model
Recommend mitigation strategies for identified vulnerabilities
Evaluate and select security tools (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, IAM solutions)
Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies
Oversee implementation of security technologies and integrations
Work with IT, DevOps, and business teams to embed security into systems




Develop and maintain security architecture documentation
Establish policies, procedures, and security controls
Report on security posture to senior management

Ideal candidate would demonstrate experience in:

• Identity and Access Management
• Azure Active Directory
• Data/Information Security including Labelling, DLP, encryption, masking, security posture management etc
• Application Security including SAST/DAST, WAF, API security, Secrets/key mgmt., redundancy, vulnerability management, etc
• Network security including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, Network segmentation, Wireless security, email and web gateway, cloud security etc
• Endpoint security including Antivirus, EDR/XDR, host-based firewalls, mobile device mgmt.
• SIEM, SOAR, Threat intelligence etc
• Working across projects to ensure security standards compliance

This is a full time role with a salary of $100K and above excluding superannuation.
