Your opportunity:




Provide guidance to kitchen staff on effective cooking methods and food preparation practices.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene by ensuring meals are prepared, handled and stored in accordance with relevant legislation and health requirements.
Monitor kitchen appliances, utensils and equipment, identifying items that require repair, replacement or removal.
Coordinate meal service activities, including serving food, cleaning dishes and disposing of food scraps appropriately.
Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of food preparation areas, cold rooms, refrigerators and freezers, and demonstrate the secure and correct use of kitchen equipment to staff and students.
