CGC Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Vertical Transport Engineer to join the Perth building services team of a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

This prospect would suit an engineer with experience in lifts, escalators and vertical transport systems who enjoys combining technical design with client engagement and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The role

You will contribute to the design, specification and coordination of vertical transport systems, helping develop solutions that support building functionality, accessibility and the movement of people.

Your responsibilities will include
Developing vertical transport designs and specifications for lifts, escalators and related systems
Undertaking traffic analysis and assessing system capacity and performance requirements
Preparing technical reports, design documentation and tender specifications
Coordinating with architects, structural engineers and other building services disciplines




Reviewing supplier submissions and checking alignment with project requirements
Supporting site inspections, installation reviews and commissioning activities
Liaising with clients and suppliers throughout project delivery

About you

We are interested in hearing from candidates with:
A qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant related discipline
Experience in vertical transport engineering, consultancy or lift industry design
Knowledge of lift and escalator systems, equipment selection and performance assessment
Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards and accessibility requirements
Robust technical documentation and communication skills
A cooperative approach and the ability to manage competing project priorities
