About the role

TNT Plumbing is seeking an organised and proactive Site Engineer to support plumbing and drainage projects with Tier 1 builders across the Newcastle region. This role combines engineering support, site administration and project coordination. You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors and builder representatives to keep project documentation current and support the smooth delivery of works.

Key responsibilities
Manage site documentation, registers, drawing revisions and document control.
Prepare and track Requests for Information (RFIs), technical submissions and approvals.
Coordinate inductions and maintain worker, subcontractor and equipment compliance records.
Upload and maintain SWMS, SOPs, SDS and other required project documentation.
Coordinate inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality records, test results and defect registers.
Assist with reviewing drawings and specifications and identifying issues requiring clarification.
Support procurement, delivery tracking and coordination of materials.
Maintain site diaries, progress records and meeting minutes.




Assist with variation documentation and provide supporting records for progress claims.
Coordinate as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and project handover documentation.

About you
A qualification in engineering, construction management or a related field, or relevant industry experience.
Experience in site engineering, project coordination or construction administration.
Experience working with Tier 1 builders and their documentation requirements.
Robust organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Confident communication skills and a practical, proactive approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction document management systems.
A current White Card and driver's licence.
Experience in commercial plumbing and drainage, along with familiarity with platforms such as HammerTech, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud or Project Simpel, would be highly regarded.
