Medplus We have an exciting chance for a registered nurse to join the nursing team at Medplus. We are looking for a practice nurse who can fit easily into our large friendly team. You will be working with skilled clinical and administration colleagues and be supported by a dedicated medical centre leadership team.

Preferred key knowledge and skill areas:
Certified vaccinator
Cannulation
Wound care management
Triage
Smear taker
Have knowledge and previous experience in running nurse-led clinics for diabetes, asthma, and others.
Demonstrate a willingness to undertake training for any areas requiring certification.

The role could involve a 6.15pm finish on weekdays and may include a rotation of Saturday weekend shift between 08.45am - 1.00pm and occasional shifts at our satellite clinic in Devonport.

Do you have what we are looking for?
A current Current Zealand practicing certificate is essential.
Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
Ability to work with GPs in acute situations.
High standard of clinical performance and compassionate caring values
Accuracy with documentation
Tech savvy - computers and equipment do not phase you.
Happy, friendly personality
Reliability, initiative, and dependability
Able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
