Salary: $140,000–$150,000 base + 20% FIFO uplift

Location: FIFO from Brisbane to Hervey Bay, QLD

Roster: 10 days on / 4 days off

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a renewable energy project in Hervey Bay. This full time opportunity offers a FIFO arrangement from Brisbane on a 10:4 roster.

Working closely with the project and commercial teams, you will manage contract administration, procurement and cost control throughout project delivery. You will play a key role in managing subcontractor performance, assessing claims and variations, and supporting the project’s commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review and administer subcontract and supplier agreements.
Manage procurement, tender assessments and contract negotiations.




Assess progress claims, variations and extension-of-time submissions.
Monitor project costs, commitments and forecasts.
Identify contractual risks and support their resolution.
Maintain accurate commercial records and prepare project reports.
Collaborate with project managers, site teams and subcontractors to support successful delivery.

Qualifications and Experience
Demonstrated contract administration experience on Australian construction, infrastructure or energy projects.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, including Australian Standard contract forms.
Experience managing procurement, subcontract packages, claims and variations.
Robust commercial judgement, analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, commerce or a related discipline are desirable.
Willingness to work a FIFO 10:4 roster from Brisbane to Hervey Bay.
