An established design and construction company is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join its Sydney team on a 12-month contract, working across commercial interiors and fitout projects.

This role suits a confident designer with robust creative and technical skills who enjoys taking projects from concept through to delivery. Solid ArchiCAD skills are essential.

The role
Develop space plans, design concepts and client presentations.
Select finishes, materials, furniture and fittings.
Produce detailed design, tender and construction documentation using ArchiCAD.
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
Resolve design and technical issues while maintaining design intent.
Manage deadlines and deliverables across multiple projects.




Support site meetings, drawing reviews and construction-stage queries.

About you
Proven senior-level interior design experience across commercial and fitout projects.
Robust ArchiCAD proficiency, particularly in detailed documentation.
A qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related discipline.
Experience from concept design through to construction documentation.
Sound knowledge of the NCC and relevant Australian Standards.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving.
