About the role

As a medical receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all our patients. You will need to be well-presented, courteous and committed to providing excellent customer service. High level communication skills, the ability to show empathy to patients, and a commitment to address their concerns and work as part of a team is paramount.

The clinic is open from 7:30am to 7:30pm so the candidate must be able to work these hours as part of their roster, and have flexibility where required to assist the team.

Key responsibilities
Ensuring the highest level of quality care and service delivered to patients from the moment they arrive at the clinic
Supporting the GP's and nurses
Ensuring confidentiality and management of patient records
Liaising with Medicare, TAC and other insurance companies
Communicating professionally with doctors, nurses, other staff, and patients




Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads, including managing a high call volume
Ability to complete daily reception and cleaning tasks to a high standard

About you
Minimum 1-year experience as a receptionist in a medical clinic setting (Desired)
Experience with medical practice management software is required, with any system acceptable
Robust, skilled and polite communication skills, both written and verbal
Positive, enthusiastic attitude and valuable team player, who will contribute positively to the clinic culture
Must have full work rights
