About the role

You'll work alongside our fabrication and fit-off team, assembling and installing mechanical components on new truck builds.

Key responsibilities
Fitting, assembling and installing mechanical components
Installing hydraulics, pneumatics, cranes and accessories
Carrying out basic auto-electrical tasks
Reading drawings and following job specifications
Checking your work for quality and correct operation
Supporting general workshop duties and maintaining a secure, organised workspace

About you
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
At least three years of mechanical fitting experience
A forklift licence
The ability to read drawings and follow job specifications
A practical approach to solving problems
Positive teamwork and a robust commitment to workplace safety
Experience with heavy vehicles, hydraulics, pneumatics or crane installations will be highly regarded
Eligible to work in Australia
