About the role

Tec-NQ is looking for an experienced tradesperson with a passion for teaching who is ready to bring an engaging, hands-on approach to the classroom and workshop. You will train apprentices as a Mobile Plant Technician and shape the next generation of the trade. You don't need prior teaching experience — Tec-NQ will support you with coaching, mentoring, and training. What matters most is your industry expertise, qualifications, and the right attitude.

Key responsibilities
Train apprentices in Mobile Plant Technician trade
Deliver engaging, hands-on classroom and workshop instruction
Support the next generation of tradespeople in their career preparation

About you
A trade qualification in Automotive Mobile Plant with post-trade work experience in industry
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116 or TAE40110) or a higher qualification
An understanding of vocational education and training




Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Current C-Class Australian Drivers Licence
Queensland 'Blue Card' to work with children or eligibility to attain
