CGC Recruitment is seeking an HV Electrical Engineer with 11kV experience to join the Perth building services team of a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

This opportunity would suit an electrical engineer with a robust background in high voltage distribution who enjoys solving technical challenges and collaborating with other design disciplines The chance

Working within the building services team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure, with a focus on 11kV systems and their integration into building developments.

Key responsibilities will include
Designing and documenting HV electrical distribution systems, including 11kV networks
Developing specifications and single-line diagrams for substations, transformers and switchgear
Contributing to load assessments, equipment selection and protection coordination
Coordinating with utilities, clients, architects and other engineering disciplines




Ensuring designs meet relevant Australian Standards and utility requirements
Providing technical input throughout design and project delivery

About you

We are interested in hearing from candidates with:
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant equivalent qualification

• Demonstrated experience designing 11kV electrical systems
Knowledge of HV distribution, substations, transformers, switchgear and protection systems
Experience within an engineering consultancy, building services or a related design environment
Familiarity with Australian Standards and utility connection requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach to project delivery
