DIDO Utilities role

Your current company

Hays is currently seeking an experienced Utilities Worker for a remote mine site position on an 8:6 roster, commencing in November.

Your new role

You will be working on a remote mine site, completing 12-hour shifts on an 8:6 roster. This is a diverse, hands-on role where you will support the day-to-day running and cleanliness of the camp and site facilities.

Your duties will include
Housekeeping and cleaning accommodation rooms to the required standard
Cleaning and maintaining ablution blocks, administration buildings and shared camp facilities
General cleaning across the site and keeping communal areas clean and tidy
Assisting in the kitchen with kitchen hand duties, cleaning and general support
Assisting with bar service and serving alcohol when required
Driving to and from the mine site as part of your daily duties




Following all site safety procedures and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout your shift

What you'll need to succeed
Current RSA
Current Full Driving Licence
Ability to work 12-hour shifts on an 8:6 roster
Ability to complete a range of cleaning, housekeeping and support duties
Previous mine site experience
Must have own transport - fuel reimbursed
