SMAART Recruitment is partnering with an established, rapidly growing international organisation to add several Appointment Setters to its high-performing Sydney CBD sales team.

You ll talk with business owners across Australia, understand what they need and book appointments for experienced Business Development Managers. It s a excellent entry point into sales, with a clear path upward.

What s in it for you
Base salary of $65,000 $75,000 + super
Uncapped monthly commission
First-year OTE of approximately $120,000 $130,000
Comprehensive training, including scripts, theory and call shadowing
Ongoing support and real-time coaching
Transparent progression into senior sales, leadership and BDM roles
Monday Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm. No weekends
Contemporary Sydney CBD office

This is a permanent, full-time role based in the office five days per week.

What you'll be doing
Making outbound calls to business owners (high volume)
Building rapport and having genuine, two-way conversations
Handling objections smoothly and naturally, without sounding scripted
Asking questions to understand each business s needs




Booking qualified appointments for the Business Development team
Keeping accurate notes in the CRM
Working towards achievable daily and weekly targets
Learning through regular coaching and call feedback

About you:
Confident and comfortable on the phone
Skilled at (or keen to master) handling objections while keeping conversations natural and engaging
Quick on your feet, a good listener and able to adapt to what the person says
Positive, energetic and motivated
Resilient when faced with rejection
Driven by goals and earning potential
Reliable and a team player
Eligible to work in Australia

No sales experience? No problem.

You might come from hospitality, retail, customer service or somewhere completely different. What matters is that you re confident talking to people, open to feedback and motivated to succeed.
