City of Newcastle invites applications for a Cadet Planner to join our Planning and Development team. You will contribute to projects under our 2040 Community Strategic Plan, helping shape a city that is attractive, people-focused and well-planned.

The role rotates between Development Assessment and Strategic Planning, supporting DA applications, certificates, and strategic policy work as part of Council’s Planning & Workplace Directorate. This is a fixed-term cadet position.
