About this role /n

We are looking for a Yard Hand with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to join our Plant team at Wellcamp (Toowoomba).

/n

Reporting to the Corporate Plant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting daily yard operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work workplace. This is a hands-on role with the potential to support projects on an ad hoc basis.

Responsibilities: /n

/n
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure plant equipment is safe and reliable.

/n
Keep the yard and workshop clean and protected, managing waste and disposal.

/n
Manage inventory for tools, equipment, spare parts, and supplies.

/n




Safely coordinate the movement of vehicles and machinery in the yard and workshop.

/n
Handle loading and unloading of deliveries, plant, and equipment.

/n
Conduct daily inspections of the workshop and equipment.

/n
Follow company safety policies and all health and safety regulations.

/n

To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following: /n

/n
High Risk Work Licenses (e.g., Forklift, rigging, dogging)

/n
RII competencies (e.g., working at heights, confined spaces, excavator)

/n
Workshop and yard experience desirable

/n
Understanding of plant, maintenance, and logistics processes

/n
Good communication and time management skills

/n
Robust attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised yard

/n
