People's Coffee looking for a Part time Cook/Sandwich hand to join our dynamic team!

The successful applicant will possess at least 1 years experience in a similar role and have excellent attention to detail.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cook/Sandwich hand to join our rapid-paced espresso bar located in the heart of the CBD. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fresh, high-quality food and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Responsibilities include:

Prepare and cook grab n go items

Ensure all food is presented to a high standard and served in a timely manner

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and reduce food wastage





Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during peak periods

Adhere to workplace health and safety practices at all times

Requirements

Previous experience as a cook or sandwich hand in a similar workplace

Sound knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations

Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume setting

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Food Safety Handling Certificate (preferred)
