Talent International is partnering with a major Federal Government organisation to recruit an experienced Systems Tester to support the delivery of complex technology projects.

/n

This is an excellent chance for someone with solid hands‑on automation testing experience to work across modern cloud technologies, system integrations and enterprise applications.

Systems Tester | Federal Government | Wollongong Key Responsibilities /n

/n
Develop and execute test strategies, test plans and automation frameworks.

/n
Perform end‑to‑end system, integration, regression, API and database testing.

/n
Design and implement automated tests using C#, Java and modern automation tools.

/n
Test AWS cloud environments, data migrations and event‑driven integrations.

/n
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

/n
Manage defects, test environments, reporting and release readiness.

/n
Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders within Agile Scrum teams.

/n
Mentor junior and intermediate testers to improve automation capabilities.

/n

About You /n





To be successful in this role, you will have:

/n

/n
Minimum 5 years' experience in systems testing, with a strong focus on automation.

/n
Strong hands‑on automation experience using C# and Java.

/n
Demonstrated experience testing AWS environments, including DMS/CDC and Kinesis.

/n
Experience with Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, Postman and Swagger.

/n
Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation and defect investigation.

/n
Experience testing APIs, data migrations and event‑driven architectures.

/n
Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and Git‑based workflows.

/n
Strong understanding of Agile Scrum delivery methodologies.

/n
Experience leading testing activities and mentoring less experienced testers.

/n
