Software Engineer | 12-Month Contract | $700-$850/day incl. super

The prospect

A major Australian wealth and super organisation is looking for a Software Engineer to join its technology team on a 12-month contract. You'll help build and look after the software that supports financial advice, working in an Agile team alongside engineers, testers and delivery leads.

What you'll do
Design, build, test and support applications
Deliver recent features and ongoing improvements
Find and fix the root cause of issues, not just the symptoms
Monitor alerts and keep systems running smoothly
Work closely with the team to keep delivery steady and quality high

What you'll bring
Full-stack experience, including single-page applications
Ideally you've worked in Wealth / Super or Financial Services




Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra or Elasticsearch
Familiarity with messaging technologies and basic Linux skills
Experience working in Agile teams
