must adopt a cultural respect for safety as well as adhere to the most stringent procedures.At WSG Eftech, we take pride in having a 100% focus on safe outcomesWe are currently looking for experienced Pipe Fitters with a strong mechanical background for work at the Ampol Refinery in Brisbane.Start Date: 19 October ****End Date : 26 December ****Hours: Monday-Friday, 10 hours per dayDrive In - Drive Out (DIDO)Local Brisbane candidates are strongly preferredKey Responsibilities:Pipe fitting and mechanical installation workInstallation, assembly and maintenance of piping systemsWorking with threaded pipe connections, fittings and mechanical jointsReading and interpreting piping drawings, isometric drawings and specificationsMeasuring, cutting, fitting and aligning pipeworkInstallation of valves, flanges, fittings and associated componentsBolt-up and mechanical connection workAssisting with equipment and piping modificationsCarrying out work safely in a refinery environmentFollowing site procedures, SWMS/JSA and permit requirementsMaintaining high standards of workmanship and housekeepingRequirements:Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter / Mechanical FitterStrong mechanical fitting backgroundExperience with threaded connections and pipe fittingsIndustrial / refinery / oil & gas experience highly regardedAbility to read drawings and work independentlyStrong commitment to safetyRelevant Australian tickets and site experience preferredMust be available for the full project period
