The role has a predominantly obstetric and emergency gynaecology focus, including antenatal clinics, birth suite work, high-risk pregnancy care, and emergency gynaecology.Key responsibilitiesProvide safe and effective supervised clinical management of obstetric and gynaecology patientsManage normal and abnormal pregnancy, labour, puerperium and obstetric emergenciesPerform and assist with obstetric procedures including instrumental delivery and caesarean sectionParticipate in after-hours, night and weekend rostering, audits,

Baseline comfort with operative obstetrics is highly desirable.
The role offers sufficient clinical exposure to support completion of the RANZCOG Associate Training Program (Advanced Procedural - APTP).
