You'll consult with system owners and stakeholders to inform capability reviews, and identify opportunities to increase interoperability so the end-to-end network stays resilient.
The role runs from capturing the current capability baseline through to defining the future state, and it needs someone who can work with senior stakeholders and interpret technical information about Defence communications and information systems.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and capture the current capability baseline (architecture)
Define and develop a high‐level capability trajectory and roadmap
Review and develop operational scenarios, vignettes and use cases
Capture stakeholder needs through stakeholder engagement
Assess strategic alignment and explore broader Defence, government and industry insights

Assess the current capability and trajectory, informed by the capability baseline and refined needs, and identify gaps
Develop a current trajectory paper (future state with key uplifts identified)
Design and agree capability target state uplifts
Identify dependencies and constraints, and identify and assess risks
Develop a high-level program roadmap and schedule
Explore finance, delivery and operating model options
Research and analyse architecture, interfaces and interoperability, producing the capability baseline, capability trajectory paper, draft strategy and final strategy
Manage and refine senior capability stakeholder input into the project, including engagement management plans, stakeholder engagement plans and monthly reports
Support capability reviews in consultation with system owners and stakeholders
Required
Current NV2 security clearance
Experience in Systems Architecture and Integration
