The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business on a permanent night shift roster.This is a fantastic prospect for an experienced electrician looking for long-term stability, consistent hours and a secure position within a well-established manufacturing environment.

The RoleWorking as part of the site's maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently throughout the night shift.
Your responsibilities will include:




Electrical breakdown maintenance and fault findingPreventative and scheduled maintenanceDiagnosing electrical and control system faultsWorking on PLCs, sensors, VSDs, motors and automated machineryElectrical repairs and modificationsSupporting production to minimise downtimeAssisting with continuous improvement and reliability initiativesCompleting maintenance documentation and following site proceduresEnsuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards
To be successful, you will ideally have:
A-Grade Electrical LicencePrevious experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or industrial manufacturingStrong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExperience with automated production equipmentKnowledge of PLCs, sensors, VSDs and control systemsA proactive approach to preventative maintenanceAbility to work autonomously while also contributing to a wider maintenance teamStrong commitment to safety and quality
