While you will start in office mastering the fundamentals of soil, aggregate and concrete testing, sampling, and quality control, this position features a structured pathway to step up into Management role and transition into executing complex Engineering Projects as you grow with the business.Key responsibilitiesConducting field testing and sampling of fresh concrete, soils and aggregatesPerforming general laboratory testing techniques, including coring and stripping of samplesCompleting accurate daily technical logs and test reportsEnsuring proficient use and care of testing equipment and systemsStrictly upholding safety, quality,



and environmental site policiesAbout youA Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) is highly desirable, OR equivalent proven experience in materials testingA current Australian Driver's License and a valid Construction White CardAbility to pass a mandatory pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screeningStrong engineering numeracy, sharp analytical skills, and excellent written/verbal communicationA strong work ethic, personal maturity, and the drive to eventually manage teams and projectsClear, defined transition from Field Technician to ManagementGain invaluable, hands-on exposure to Tier-1 major tunnel infrastructureFull training provided, including industry-recognised NATA laboratory and field-testing competenciesGreat base rates with excellent penalty rates and overtime available
