Due to internal promotions, RAC's Motor Assessing team have opportunities available for Motor Assessors to join us within the Perth Metro area.This role will require you to use your industry experience to assess motor vehicles along with your customer service skills to negotiate between RAC, members and repairers; ensuring a fair and reasonable outcome for all.What will you be doing?
Assess damaged motor vehicles and caravans and determine damage costsRecommend cost effective methods of claim settlement in accordance with policy conditions, manufacturers repair specifications and quality expectations.Provide consistent and efficient repair management practices within measured service and cost targetsIdentify and inspect vehicles to compile accurate reports on the extent of accident damage and vehicle conditionAdvise and review assessment reports to validate assessment of quantum position and settlement decisionsAdhere to Motor Vehicle Insurance and Repair Industry Code of ConductProvide exceptional customer service to RAC's members and stakeholdersOvercome objections and handle disputes and complaints at first point of contactWhat are we looking for?
Relevant trade qualifications in Panel Beating or Spray PaintingHands on experience as a Panel Beater or Spray PainterStrong customer service and communication skillsDemonstrated problem-solving skillsFlexibility and enthusiasm in a professional work environmentMust have a current and unrestricted drivers licenseQuoting or estimating experience within the smash repair industry is desirableCommitment to putting members at the centre of everything you doWhat can we offer you?
