I'm partnering with a leading ASX brand in recruiter for their next AP Officer.
The role will start out as a 3-6 months temporary contract with genuine potential to go permanent.
This will suit junior candidates with 1 to 3 years experience who has a positive foundation in accounts payable and looking to further enhance skills in a big, multinational and progressive environment.
You bring your drive and eagerness to learn, they will provide the right environment and the proper training!
About the roleAs the AP Officer your duties will include but not be limited to:Management of supplier master dataEnsure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoicesEnsure proper documentation and records of all invoicesReviewing and reconciling statementsHandling vendor queries and effective vendor communicationAssisting with ad hoc reporting for the AP ManagerReconciliation of creditors balance against supplier statementsProcessing Forex Payments and currency variance clearanceOther ad hoc duties as required About youTo become a successful member of the finance team, you will have the following skills and attributes: 1-3 years of relevant experience in commercial rolesHighly motivated, self-directed, and pro-active towardStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to meet deadlinesExceptional time-management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlinesHigh attention to detailIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsDemonstrated ability to work with stakeholders at all levels both internal and externalExperience with processing multi–Foreign Currencies transactions is advantageousNext StepsThe hiring manager is actively enterviewing candidates thus week but happy to wait for at least 1 week notice.
