Major Capital Projects | Water Infrastructure | Western Australia The Opportunity An chance is available for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Lead Project Engineer to support the development and delivery of a portfolio of major water infrastructure and capital projects across Western Australia.
The position will oversee projects progressing through concept development and front-end planning into engineering, construction, commissioning and operational handover.
The portfolio includes water source solutions, treatment facilities, pipelines, reticulation networks, utilities and associated infrastructure.
This role is ideally suited to a hands-on project professional who combines strong technical and project engineering capability with proven project management and construction delivery experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead major capital projects from concept development through engineering, execution, commissioning and handoverDevelop project scopes, execution strategies, schedules, budgets and risk management plansManage multidisciplinary engineering consultants, construction contractors and project stakeholdersDrive engineering quality, constructability, project controls and delivery readinessCoordinate technical, commercial, regulatory, operational and construction interfacesMaintain a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, cost and risk throughout the project lifecycleSupport effective decision-making and provide clear project reporting to key stakeholders About You You will be an experienced project professional with:Significant experience delivering major capital projects within mining, resources, utilities, water,



energy or heavy industryDemonstrated experience delivering infrastructure projects through engineering, construction and commissioningStrong project engineering and project management credentialsProven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, engineering consultants and construction contractorsStrong stakeholder engagement, commercial management and risk management capabilitiesA practical understanding of construction planning, constructability and project executionThe ability to manage complex project interfaces and competing priorities Highly DesirableExperience delivering water treatment, pipeline, pumping or water infrastructure projectsBrownfield project delivery experiencePrevious experience working within an owner's team, EPCM or EPC environmentExperience leading projects from front-end development through execution and commissioning What Will Make You Successful You will be a pragmatic and commercially aware project leader who understands how projects are constructed, not simply how they are designed.
