This is a 12 month FIFO contract, offering the prospect to take ownership of medium to long-term electrical reliability initiatives in a highly technical site-based environment.
The RoleAs the Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer, you will drive reliability improvement strategies and provide technical leadership across electrical assets, helping optimise plant performance, reduce risk and improve asset life.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical reliability improvement and defect elimination initiativesDeliver obsolescence studies and equipment replacement projectsProvide technical support during shutdowns and maintenance activitiesDevelop and review maintenance and asset replacement strategiesConduct critical spares reviews and optimise inventory strategiesFacilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA)



investigations and corrective actionsSupport electrical maintenance teams with complex breakdown issuesAbout YouTertiary-qualified Electrical EngineerExtensive experience in mining, heavy industry, or process plant environmentsStrong background in reliability engineering and asset managementExperience with RCA, maintenance strategy development and continuous improvementKnowledge of Schneider and Rockwell VSDs, switchgear and Power Management Systems (PMS) highly regardedComfortable working in a site-based FIFO role and engaging with operational stakeholdersALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENCY OR CITIZENSHIP WITHIN AUSTRALIA.
