We want our stores to be places where people feel welcome and individuality is celebrated.About the RoleWe're looking for a Part Time Sales Assistant to support the Store Manager at our Wynnum store.This isn't a normal retail position.
You'll role will be centered around creating a store that feels welcoming, positive and full of personality — a place where customers enjoy spending time, donors feel appreciated and second-hand shopping feels exciting.What You'll Be DoingNo two days are quite the same — and that's part of the fun.You'll be hands-on across the store, including:Creating genuine connections with our customers and donorsKeeping the shop floor full of fresh, interesting pre-loved stock,



continuous stock moves is a mustAssisting in preparing donated items for saleHelping to price and keep the store looking fullUsing POS and CRM like a pro to deal with heavy trade times as welll as assisting with social media reelsWorking with your Store Manager to achieve store/team goals and outcomesSharing ideas and looking for better ways of doing thingsWhat We're Looking ForWe can teach you our systems and how we do things at Do-Op.What we can't teach is attitude.We're looking for someone who:Loves people– you're friendly, approachable and know how to create a space that make people feel welcomeRolls up the sleeves– if something needs doing, you're all inHas an eye for presentation– you enjoy making things look good and understand how merchandising transforms spacesWorks well with others– you contribute, communicate and support the people around youTakes ownership– you're reliable, responsible and do what you say you'll doCan think on your feet– priorities change quickly in our stores and you're comfortable in pivoting throughout the dayIs open to feedback– you want to learn, improve and developShares our values– inclusion, kindness, sustainability and community aren't just words to usPrevious retail or customer service and fashion experience would be great, particularly if you've worked in a busy environment, but we're also interested in theperson behind the experience.
