We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our hospital kitchen team, delivering high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs to patients, visitors and staff.

Make a Difference Every Day...
As a Chef, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality and patient-focused catering services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare and serve patient meals and ensuring dietary requirements are met
Prepare food for St Andrew's Hospital Cafe and Kiosk
Provide catering for on-site functions, suites and visiting medical officers
Meet meal service times whole maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety and safe work practices
monitor stock levels, rotate supplies and minimise food waste
What Makes a Difference for Us?




We are seeking an individual who possesses the following:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Demonstrated experience working as a Chef
Experience in healthcare or large-scale food service, highly regarded
Sound knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene and dietary requirements
Ability to work collaboratively in a busy kitchen team
Robust organisational, time management and communication skillsx
Commitment to quality food presentation and customer service
Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Experience in stock control, waste reduction and efficient food preparation
Experience in café, retail or function catering, beneficial
