About the role
We're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a close-knit team and wants to contribute to a practice that values quality, teamwork and exceptional patient care.




This role is suited to a Dental Assistant who enjoys working in a busy clinical environment and who will help ensure appointments run efficiently and patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment.
Key responsibilities
Confident chairside assisting across a variety of dental procedures
Anticipating clinicians' needs and preparing for upcoming procedures
Supporting patients throughout their treatment, including those who may feel anxious or require additional reassurance
Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials to a high standard
Managing sterilisation and infection control in accordance with practice protocols
Maintaining clean, organised and well-stocked surgeries
Monitoring clinical supplies and helping ensure the team is prepared for the day ahead
Working collaboratively with dentists, reception and the wider team to support an productive patient journey
About you
At least 2 years of dental assisting experience, with the confidence to work independently and support clinicians across a variety of procedures
Strong chairside skills and the ability to anticipate what's needed
A sound understanding of sterilisation, infection control and clinical protocols
Excellent communication skills and a warm, reassuring manner with patients
Initiative, reliability and the ability to stay organised when things get busy
A positive, adaptable attitude and a genuine team‐first mindset
A willingness to learn, take responsibility and contribute to the ongoing success of the practice
Certificate III in Dental Assisting (advantageous)
Experience using EXACT practice management software (advantageous)
Exposure to orthodontics, implants, cosmetic or restorative dentistry (advantageous)
