As a Youth Worker with Point Care, you will provide high-quality, trauma-informed care and support to children and young people living in Point Care residential homes, emergency placements and supported accommodation, as well as participating in community-based programs.
The role focuses on maintaining a safe and supportive workplace while helping young people develop independence, participate in education and community activities, and work towards their individual care plan goals.
Key responsibilities
Provide therapeutic care and day-to-day support to children and young people
Maintain a safe, supportive and child-focused environment
Support young people with daily living activities and the development of independence
Encourage participation in education, training and personal development
Support community participation and positive engagement
