Sales Representative (Casual) - Independent FMCGBrisbane South Sales Representative (Casual) – Independent FMCGReporting to the State Sales Manager, the Brisbane (South) Casual Sales Representative will develop and maintain strong customer relationships across Brisbane's Southern independent grocery channel.This role is responsible for managing an assigned territory, planning weekly activities and delivering sales and distribution objectives.
Core priorities include executing in-store activations, negotiating and managing shelf space, increasing brand visibility and achieving sales targets across the represented product portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a designated territory across Brisbane's Southern/Western territories, travelling between customer sites on rostered working daysGrow product distribution and brand presence across multiple categoriesMaintaining displays, shelf space and brand visibilitySupporting promotions and product launchesIdentifying local distribution opportunitiesCompleting concise weekly reportingBuild and maintain productive relationships with customers and the broader company team.About YouIdeally, you will have previous FMCG, merchandising or territory sales experience,



together with an understanding of independent supermarkets and the IGA and FoodWorks networks.You will be confident managing an assigned territory and state-based multi-store groups, while completing weekly administration and communicating sales results and relevant market insights to management in a timely manner.The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of independent supermarkets, the Metcash supply model and the broader independent retail market.A respectful, honest and collaborative approach to working with customers and colleagues.Knowledge of independent supermarkets and key retail groups across Brisbane's Southern and Western territories, or the ability to quickly build this knowledge.Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.A proven ability to generate new business growth through a cooperative approach.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using Apple iPad technology.What We OfferA competitive casual hourly rate, plus superannuationA consistent three-day working week with an agreed rosterVehicle kilometer reimbursement for approved business travelPhone, tablet and other tools required for the roleReimbursement of approved business expenses
