We also run a wholesale arm that supplies fresh produce to restaurants, pubs and grocers across Melbourne.The roleWe're looking for someone to grow our customer base across hospitality and retail.
You'll find new accounts, open doors with people you already know, and look after the relationships once they're on board.
It's a casual role of 12 hours a week, and most of it is spent out talking to chefs, venue owners and store buyers rather than at a desk.What you'll doFind and follow up leads with restaurants, cafes, pubs, grocers and independent retailersUse your existing contacts to set up introductions, samples and tastingsReconnect with previous Fifth Harvest customers and identify opportunities to bring them backPitch both our farm-grown range and broader wholesale offering, and put together pricing and proposals with the teamTurn new accounts into regular customers and identify opportunities to grow the range they buy from usBuild relationships with chefs, owners, buyers and hospitality groups,



and generate introductions and referralsKeep a simple sales pipeline with clear next steps and follow up opportunities through to a trial order or decisionKeep in touch with existing customers so we understand what's working, what they need and where we could improveFeed back what you're hearing from the market, including pricing, competitor activity, hard-to-source produce and current product opportunitiesWork closely with the operations team so that what we sell matches what we can reliably source, grow and deliverReport back each week on leads, new accounts, sales opportunities and what you're hearing from customersWhat you'll bringExperience in hospitality, whether that's in venues, food sales, supply or distributionAn established network in Melbourne's hospitality and retail sceneA track record of winning new business and keeping itComfort walking into a kitchen or store and starting a conversationEnough organisation to manage your own time and follow through without much oversightA driver's licence and your own car
