This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in working safely and efficiently within a logistics operation.Key ResponsibilitiesLoading and unloading a variety of freight including oversized, long-length, blended and general freightHandling freight across mezzanine floors, linehaul trailers, local vehicles and containersManual handling of goods in line with safety standardsEnsuring freight is handled, stored, and transported safely and efficientlyMaintaining a clean and organised work areaComplying with all workplace health and safety requirementsSkills & ExperienceValid Forklift Licence (LF) - essentialPrevious experience operating forklifts in a transport or logistics environmentExperience handling non-palletised, oversized, and mixed freightAbility to manually handle loads up to 20kgStrong awareness of safety procedures and safe work practicesAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
