Caring for up to 165 children, our service provides a warm, engaging environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and connect with their community.A Day in the Life of an Educator...Provide safe, caring, and interactive supervision of childrenModel and support positive interactions with childrenBuild genuine, positive relationships with the local communityFoster positive interactions with and support for parents and familiesAssist in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of programs consistent with current legislation and frameworksParticipate as a team member by maintaining positive working relationshipsAdhere to and promote all regulations, policies, and proceduresContribute to continuous improvement processesBe actively involved in your own professional and personal developmentSupport and follow all reasonable workplace instructionsResponsibilities of an Inclusion Support EducatorHelp facilitate the inclusion of children with additional needs, in co-operation with the Teacher/Director and the child's parentsHelp create an inclusive environment that promotes competence, independence, exploration, and learning through playAssist in preparing, implementing, and evaluating programs and resources to support the educational needs of the child/ren, consistent with current legislation and frameworksWork collaboratively with outside specialists and other support servicesJob Requirements:Hold (or are working towards)
