Our client is a respected corporate/commercial practice with a growing property capability in a high-demand coastal market in South-East Queensland.
Known for practical, commercially minded advice, our client works with a blend of private clients, investors, developers and business owners, prioritising quality outcomes over churn and unnecessary red tape.
About the Position:
Our client is looking for a mid–senior Property Lawyer (5+ PAE) to take ownership of a steady stream of developer-led matters, commercial leasing and select conveyancing files.
This is a role for someone who wants to run matters end-to-end, be trusted to manage priorities, and enjoy flexibility without sacrificing interesting work.
You'll work across a mix including:
Developer acquisitions and disposals (due diligence, contract negotiation, settlements)
Off-the-plan and standard conveyancing (residential and commercial)
Commercial, retail and industrial leasing (current leases, renewals, assignments, variations)




Drafting and negotiating special conditions and transaction documents
Direct client management with repeat referrers and longstanding relationships
Supporting junior staff as the practice grows (as needed)

Key Requirements:
5+ years PAE in Queensland property law (mid–senior level)
Proven experience acting on developer transactions and related advisory work
Strong leasing skills (drafting and negotiations)
Solid conveyancing capability and confident risk management
Comfortable managing client relationships and deadlines independently
Clear, commercial drafting and communication style
Ability to guide junior staff and keep matters moving
