You'll lead a team of fund accountants, senior fund accountants and account managers, and take ownership of the day-to-day running of the team as well as net asset value calculations across a range of private equity funds.
You'll work closely with your Account Manager/AVP.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach and develop the team, working with the internal training departmentOversee the timing and quality of client deliverables against agreed Service Level AgreementsManage relationships across multiple clients, including joining senior management on client visitsPrepare and review fee calculations (management and admin fees, waterfall clawback, carried interest), financial statements, footnotes, partner capital statements and LP/GP allocationsReview and coordinate fund events such as capital calls, distributions, partner transfers and fund closingsReview trial balances and maintain control of the general ledger and sub-ledgerReview limited partnership agreements,



PPMs and related documents at onboarding and during restructuresSet up fund structures in the accounting systemProvide technical accounting and industry guidance to clientsPrepare client service plans, including annual budgets and year-end auditsWork with internal teams (Legal, Financial Reporting, Tax, Regulatory) so processes meet client needsReview trading and operations processes for the private equity divisionContribute to marketing and sales pitches for the firm's private equity real estate (PERE) offeringCore CompetenciesBusiness acumen, risk management, problem solving, decision making, continuous improvement, client relationship management, communication, leadership, coaching, drive for results, resource management and adaptability.
