An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a well-established specialist surgical practice in Camperdown, supporting patients undergoing complex breast reconstruction following cancer.
This is a highly specialised role where your experience in complex wound management following breast surgery is essential.
You'll work closely with the surgeon and wider team, providing hands-on clinical care and continuity for patients throughout their reconstruction and recovery journey.
About the practice The practice has been established for around eight years and is now entering an exciting period of growth.
The focus extends beyond surgery, with a strong emphasis on supporting women throughout their cancer survivorship journey and connecting patients with appropriate healthcare providers as their needs evolve.
About the role As the Practice Nurse, you'll play an significant role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care, including:Managing complex wounds following breast reconstruction and surgeryProviding post-operative wound care, dressings and ongoing clinical assessmentSupporting patients throughout their surgical and recovery journeyEducating patients on wound care and recoveryLiaising closely with the surgeon and broader healthcare teamProviding reassurance,
