Senior Liability UnderwriterLocation: Brisbane OR Sydney Salary: Up to $150,000 + SuperAbout the BusinessOur client is a well-established underwriting agency with a strong presence in the Australian market and a focus on complex commercial risks.This is a great opportunity for an experienced Liability Underwriter to join a high-quality underwriting team, with the opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio and work closely with senior underwriting leadership.The RoleWe're seeking an experienced Liability Underwriter to manage and develop an established portfolio of commercial risks.
This role will suit someone with strong technical underwriting capability across broad-form Liability, who is comfortable assessing complex risks and excess liability.
You will be working closely with the national head of liability.The role has a strong technical focus, with exposure to large insurance programs and complex risks across sectors including Construction and Mining.
Key responsibilities will include:Managing and underwriting an established Liability portfolioAssessing complex risks across broad-form LiabilityUnderwriting large and complex insurance programsDeveloping strong broker and market relationshipsApplying sound technical underwriting judgement within delegated authorityReviewing risk information,
