Who we're looking for We're keen to speak with candidates who have:Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and at least 2 year post-graduate experience within insurance claims, ORStrong Motor/Property Claims experience (law degree not required for motor claims specialists)Experience working for an insurer, underwriting agency, claims management business, legal practice or loss adjusting organisationStrong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skillsThe ability to assess liability, interpret policy coverage and drive claims through to resolutionExperience managing one or more of the following claim types:Public LiabilityProfessional Indemnity & CyberProperty & MotorThe Opportunity You'll take ownership of a portfolio of claims from initial notification through to settlement, providing strategic advice,

Responsibilities include:Managing an end-to-end portfolio of complex insurance claimsAssessing liability, indemnity and financial exposureSetting and reviewing reservesDeveloping effective claims strategies to achieve timely and commercial outcomesLiaising with insurers, brokers, insureds, lawyers, investigators and external service providersNegotiating settlements and resolving disputesIdentifying recovery opportunities where appropriatePreparing high-quality reports and recommendations for clientsMaintaining excellent client relationships through proactive communicationManaging a busy portfolio while consistently delivering service excellenceWhether you're an insurance lawyer wanting to move into a commercial claims role, or an experienced Motor Claims qualified looking for a fresh challenge, we'd love to have a confidential conversation.
