This is an prospect for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to take technical ownership of mechanical packages across studies, detailed design and project delivery.
You'll work across overland and plant conveyors, feeders, chutes, bins, hoppers, transfer stations and associated mechanical equipment, supporting projects from early studies through to execution.
About the RoleAs a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across the design and delivery of mechanical and materials handling packages throughout study, detailed design and execution phases.
Key responsibilities include:Lead the design and delivery of conveyor systems, transfer stations and bulk materials handling equipmentDevelop and review mechanical equipment specifications, calculations, datasheets and technical documentationEngineering of conveyors, feeders, chutes, bins, hoppers and associated mechanical equipmentSupport concept, prefeasibility, feasibility and detailed design activitiesUndertake equipment selection, technical evaluations and vendor reviewsCoordinate mechanical interfaces with structural, civil, electrical, process and piping disciplinesProvide technical input across project execution,
