Clinical Midwife (CM CORE) Thursday Island Hospital Dates: 2/8/26 to 4/10/26 Seeking an experienced Clinical Midwife for a locum placement in a remote maternity service.
Requirements:Minimum 3 years midwifery experienceALS, FSEP, CTG competencyAdvanced Neonatal ResuscitationMEP Advanced (or equivalent)Recent birthing suite experienceHighly desirable: epidural competentRole includes:Full scope maternity care (antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal)Emergency obstetric/neonatal response in remote settingSenior clinician contribution to audit and portfolio activitiesConfident, autonomous midwife required for a high-responsibility remote hospital workplace.
