Data Engineer - Informatica IDMC/IICS Sydney About the Opportunity A leading global technology consultancy is seeking an experienced DMOS Batch Integration Specialist to support a major transformation project for a large Australian financial services organisation.
This contract opportunity is suited to an accomplished Informatica skilled with extensive experience in enterprise data integration, cloud platforms, metadata management and data governance.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop mappings, pipelines, taskflows and workflows using Informatica Cloud Data Integration.Deliver scalable ETL and batch-integration solutions across enterprise environments.Implement Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog capabilities.Support metadata cataloguing, data lineage, classification and business data flows.Establish data-quality checks, profiling and governance-by-design practices.Work with relational databases and cloud data platforms.Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices for data-integration deployments.Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders throughout delivery.Essential Skills and ExperienceSeven or more years of overall Informatica PowerCenter experience.Three to five years of experience with Informatica IDMC or IICS.Hands-on expertise in Cloud Data Integration, or CDI.At least five years of strong ETL design experience.Experience implementing Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog.Strong knowledge of enterprise metadata management, data lineage and governance frameworks.Advanced SQL skills.Experience working with relational databases and cloud data warehouses.Strong data-quality, profiling and governance capabilities.Experience with databases and platforms such as Oracle, Azure Database and Teradata.Understanding of CI/CD or DevOps practices for data-integration deployments.Desirable ExperienceKnowledge of metadata-driven frameworks.What's on OfferInitial six-month contract.Sydney-based opportunity.Involvement in a major enterprise transformation program.Complex, hands-on work across cloud data integration, governance and metadata management.Opportunity to work with a prominent technology consultancy and a major financial services organisation.How to Apply If you are an experienced Informatica specialist looking for your next contract opportunity, please apply with your latest CV or contact: Farbar SiddiqRecruitment ConsultantEmail: ******: ************
