Lead Mechanical / Piping Designer An established engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical / Piping Designer to join its Perth-based team.
Working across a major minerals processing project, you will lead design and drafting activities from early concept development through to detailed design and construction-ready deliverables.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams while mentoring and supporting designers across the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilitiesLead and manage mechanical and piping design activities across the projectDevelop and review plant layouts, piping arrangements and equipment modelsCoordinate with process, electrical, structural and project engineering teamsReview drawings, 3D models and design deliverables to ensure quality and constructabilityProvide technical guidance and mentoring to designers and drafting personnelSupport engineering teams through all project phases from concept design to detailed deliveryAbout youCertificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering Design or a related discipline is desirableProven experience delivering mining,
