You'll work closely with operational sites, see your designs progress into construction and commissioning, and play a key role in the ongoing growth of the regional business.
About the Role As a Senior Mechanical / Piping Engineer, you will lead engineering activities from concept through to detailed design and implementation while working directly with clients and stakeholders across multiple operating facilities.
You will be responsible for:Leading mechanical and piping engineering deliverables across studies, FEED and detailed design projectsPreparing and reviewing calculations, specifications, datasheets, reports and scopes of workDeveloping practical brownfield solutions focused on safety, operability, maintainability and cost effectivenessEngaging with clients, operations personnel, vendors and multidisciplinary project teamsSupporting site inspections, technical investigations, construction and commissioning activitiesManaging technical quality, engineering risk,



budgets and project delivery commitmentsMentoring engineers and designers within the broader engineering teamThis role offers strong client exposure and commercial involvement, including:Building and maintaining trusted client relationshipsIdentifying operational challenges and developing value-adding engineering solutionsSupporting proposals, estimates and scope developmentAssisting with business development and prospect identificationContributing to pipeline growth and regional project deliveryParticipating in client meetings and technical presentationsAbout You To be successful, you will possess:Bachelor Degree in Mechanical EngineeringRPEQ Registration or eligibility to obtain RPEQSignificant experience in mechanical and/or piping engineering within mining, minerals processing, energy, chemicals or heavy industrial environmentsStrong brownfield design and site-based engineering experienceExperience delivering studies, FEED and detailed design projectsExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsCommercial awareness and an interest in business development activitiesCurrent Australian working rights and driver's licenceALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENCY OR CITIZENSHIP WITHIN AUSTRALIA.
