The role has a predominantly obstetric and emergency gynaecology focus, including antenatal clinics, birth suite work, high-risk pregnancy care, and emergency gynaecology.
Key responsibilities
Provide safe and effective supervised clinical management of obstetric and gynaecology patients
Manage normal and abnormal pregnancy, labour, puerperium and obstetric emergencies
Perform and assist with obstetric procedures including instrumental delivery and caesarean section
Participate in after-hours, night and weekend rostering, audits,

About The Candidate
This position requires at least 12 months experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Senior RMO level or above, eligibility for registration as a Medical Practitioner in Victoria, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Baseline comfort with operative obstetrics is highly desirable.
The role offers sufficient clinical exposure to support completion of the RANZCOG Associate Training Program (Advanced Procedural - APTP).
