You will have the prospect to work with theFront Officedepartment which consists of approximately60 colleagues.
This is anexcitingopportunityforyou to grow your hotel skill setin order to build acareer with-in The Langham, shall you be determined and dedicated.
This positionis an integral part of a highperforming hotel team, and a key contributor to the hotel's ongoing success.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide a warm welcoming smile for all ourguests
Assist guests entering and departing the hotel with luggage
Familiarise the guests with the hotel rooms, facilities, amenitiesand services
Deliver messages, faxes and other items to guest rooms or otherhotel areas
Assist the Doorperson; opening car doors, greeting guests,summoning taxi's, keeping the Porte Cochere (driveway) clear,loading/unloadingluggageinto vehicles, labelling luggage & car keys
Monitor cleanliness of the Ground Floor Lobby, Front Driveway,Porters Station & Back Corridor and the Baggage Store
For this role, your attributes will be inclusive of the following:
5 star hotel experience is an advantage
Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
Robust work ethic
Proven organisational & time management skills
Hold a current manual Australian driverslicense
Immaculate presentation andgrooming




Ability to work independently
Eye for detail coupled with a strongability to proactively identify, prioritise and manage multiple tasks
Successfully accomplish objectives in abusy and challenging workplace
The successful candidate will be required to work between the hours of*****pm through to 8am.

This is a fixed term contract through to February ****- with the possibility of an extension.
HYGIENE ANDGROOMING - Naturally in the service industry high standards ofpersonalpresentation,hygiene, grooming, and conservative hairstyles are of thegreatest importance.
This must be present throughout the interview stage.
