Greencross Vets O'Connor is looking for a passionate and experienced Practice Manager to join our close-knit team.
n
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys leading people, building a positive team culture, and helping a clinic thrive. You'll combine hands-on nursing with leadership responsibilities, making this the perfect role for someone who loves both patient care and people management.

While this is ideally a full-time position, we are also open to considering part-time arrangements for candidates with previous Practice Manager experience.

About the Role n
As Practice Manager, you'll play a key leadership role within the clinic, supporting both the team and the day-to-day operations of the business.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n

Leading, mentoring, and developing our nursing and reception teams
n
Creating and maintaining a positive, engaged, and accountable team culture
n
Managing rostering, stock control, administration, and clinic operations
n
Monitoring business performance and supporting KPI achievementWorking closely with the Vet Director and regional leadership team
n
Driving local marketing and community engagement initiatives
n
Delivering exceptional service to both clients and patients
n




Supporting workflow management and operational efficiency
n
Anaesthetic monitoring
n
Hospital and treatment nursingPathology and laboratory work
n
Emergency and critical care support
n
n
This is a genuine hybrid leadership role that allows you to remain connected to your patients, clients, and team while driving the success of the clinic.
About You n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
n
Is eligible for or holds WA Veterinary Nurse Registration
n
Has a minimum of 3 years' veterinary nursing experience
n
Has previous Practice Manager experience or proven leadership experience within a veterinary clinic
n
Enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing others
n
Leads with positivity, accountability, and empathy
n
Has solid communication and customer service skills
n
Possesses excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
n
Is confident balancing clinical, operational, and people leadership
responsibilitiesHas
experience with RxWorks (desirable but not essential)
